Rubber-like material Silicone

Silicone is a polymer containing silicon together with carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen. Silicone and rubber are both elastomers (rubber-like material). Silicone will appear matte compare to latex which will appear glossy/ shiny.

Silicone can be used in the making of molds, usually for craft or baking purposes

Silicone also can be used in the making of products that mimic a lifelike human, or as the extension of the human body, or prosthetic, as seen in these pictures below
