Rubber in Movies

 

As I mentioned before, there are many types of rubber, such as natural rubber (natural latex), and many types of synthetic rubbers. Synthetic rubber will include Styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR), synthetic latex.  

Moreover, also can be found rubber-like materials such as silicone rubber, PVC rubber.

In movies or music videos, latex usually is used as the material for the costume, such as the catsuit wore by Michelle Pfeiffer in the 1992 Catwoman movie.

Moreover, latex also can be used for a prosthetic. For example, the prosthetics for the 1939 Wizard of Oz movie which were made of foam latex.
